1. Transformer (Transformer) Adapter

This transformer is useful for converting AC to DC currents through the primary and secondary windings. Usually used for power supply circuits. this type of transformer has windings that can change the electric voltage from 110 volts to 220 volts. This winding (winding) is called the primary winding. Before converting it to DC current, the voltage is passed through thousands of conductors (windings) which end in the secondary winding.

This component is widely sold in the market with certain sizes and needs. while the properties are as follows:

The physical form is rectangular coated with a thin plate and rolls covered with paper. there are several legs, on the primary scroll three feet while the secondary is not less than nine feet
The primary winding receives AC PLN current between 110 - 240 Volt
The secondary winding produces DC current after the AC current is processed in these two windings. the output voltage ranges from 4 to 12 volts

2.IF transformer (Intermediate frequency)


This transformer is used for intermediate frequency amplifiers, usually found in ancient radio receivers. currently it is rare for electronic devices to use this type of transformer. the way this transformer works is to capture sound waves emitted by a radio transmitter and then process it through other components. then issued in the form of sound (sound). This IF transformer has a physical square shape, on its surface right in the middle there is a gap to rotate when correcting sound emission from radio transmitter.


The advantages of this IF transformer are:

Can be changed when looking for a beam target precisely using a screwdriver
The shape is small, making it easier for starters when installing it
It remains to have primary and secondary winding

3. Step UP / Down transformer


As the name implies, this transformer is able to increase and decrease the voltage according to the electronic device used. This means that objects that have a voltage of 110 volts need this transformer because in general PLN has a voltage of 220 volts.


The properties of this transformer are as follows:

Produces a greater voltage if the secondary winding is more than the primary winding
Convert the voltage from 220 volts to 100, 110 and 220 volts
Increase the voltage from 110 to 200, 220 and 240 volts

4.Output transformer (OT)

This component can also be called an OT transformer. This component is widely used in amplifier circuits, radio receivers, tape recorders and a set of electronics that produce other sounds. The physical shape is almost the same as other transformers, only different sizes. Inside contains a coil of nickeline. The size of the inrush depends on the winding.

The cross section of the plate which strengthens the paper and paper wraps is used as a means of separating the current from the secondary and primary windings. At the bottom of the sticking out legs, there are five feet two at the output and three in (inrush current).
