In certain applications, sometimes an amplifier is not enough to be able to produce the desired sound quality, especially from the bass and treble tones. Then a tone control module is needed again to accommodate this.

This amplifier circuit is designed to include a tone control circuit, so that to meet the Hi-Fi home audio needs there is no need for additional modules that can take up space.

This amplifier circuit is equipped with a series of active tone controls consisting of setting low notes (bass), high notes (treble), and amplification (volume). In addition, in the input section, there is also a selector for several inputs such as a tape or DVD player whose impedance has been adjusted.

The working principle of this amplifier circuit consists of four main blocks, namely the pre-amp, tone control, power amplifier, and power supply. The function of the pre-amp in this circuit is as the first amplifier. This pre-amp directly corresponds to the input signal from the DVD player, or mp3 player.

The output signal from this pre-amp is reprocessed by a series of low pass and high pass, these two filters are a series of tone controls or tone controls that will adjust to the desired sound processing.

For the power supply of this amplifier, a complex power supply is not required, but it is advisable to use a larger elco capacitor, for example, 10,000uF / 50V. In assembling this amplifier, don't forget to prepare enough aluminum coolers to support the heat dissipation of TR11, TR12, TR13, TR14. For channeling the input using a cable, use an audio cable or a special coaxial cable. The circuit above is an amplifier circuit for mono channels. If you want to make a stereo, just make two series, and the potentiometer which is in the volume section, and the tone control is replaced with a stereo potentiometer type.
